普里什文《大自然的日曆》水的春天
今年我的地雖休閑，但我不願無所用心，我仍要寫作，記述春天里的每一個日子，不任意更換人名地名。至於我的故事的主人公，就讓大地本身來當。
我開始克制自己，不遠出春遊的時候，心中便禁不住要把大自然的種種現象記錄下來；我留下來，世界便活動開來。今年我拿到一份物候學的計劃，我根據科學的要求做記錄，但是在我的記錄稿中，同時也記下了我個人生活中的種種事情以及我的設想、我與人的相遇，因此今年春天我的全部生活是根據物候學的需要安排的。…

普里什文《大自然的日曆》仙鶴飛來了
我們住在戈里察修道院里。這個修道院很大，能容納數千城里人。城區是在特魯別日河和普列謝耶沃湖的岸邊，成十字形狀：也許曾有一個時候，城里人為了逃避敵人，到這修道院來躲過。如今院內已是空空蕩蕩，有幾口大鐘的鐘錘也沒有了。在一位主教所挖的，正好能容下諾亞方舟的池塘旁邊，只有人民博物館館長、研究本地歷史的學者的兩隻山羊在遊蕩，研究本地動物誌的副館長的女兒加利婭同山羊一起跑來跑去。…
