紙莎草（學名：Cyperus papyrus），是莎草科莎草屬的一種多年生常綠草本植物，具有極高的歷史和文化價值：
造紙鼻祖：古埃及人曾利用其莖部的髓心制成「莎草紙」，這是世界上最早的類紙書寫材料。
外觀特征：它擁有粗壯的三角形莖，頂端長有像傘一樣的細長綠色羽狀葉叢。
生長習性：原產於非洲，喜歡生長在沼澤、河流邊緣或淺水中。
現代用途：現在常被用作水景花園、池塘或庭院的觀賞植物，增添熱帶異域風情。
