《陳東東詩選》外灘
花園變遷。斑斕的虎皮被人造革
替換。它有如一座移動碼頭
別過看慣了江流的臉
水泥是想像的石頭；而石頭以植物自命
從馬路一側，它漂離堤壩到達另一側
不變的或許是外白渡橋
是鐵橋下那道分界水線
鷗鳥在邊境拍打翅膀，想要弄清
這渾濁的陰影是來自吳淞口初升的
太陽，還是來自可能的魚腹
城市三角洲迅速泛白
真正的石頭長成了紀念塔。塔前
噴泉邊，青銅塑像的四副面容
朝著四個確定的方向，羅盤在上空
像不明飛行物指示每一個方向之暈眩
於是一記鐘點敲響。水光倒映
雲霓聚合到海關金頂
從橋上下來的雙層大巴士
避開瞬間奪目的暗夜
在銀行大廈的玻璃光芒裏緩緩剎住車
