那天下午警報的解除信號已經響過了。華南一個大城市的一條熱鬧馬路上排滿了兩行人，都在肅立著，望著那預備保衛國土的壯丁隊遊行。他們隊里，說來很奇怪，沒有一個是扛槍的，戴的是平常的竹笠，穿的是灰色衣服，不像兵士，也不像農人。巡行自然是為耀武揚威給自家人看，其他有什麽目的，就不得而知了。…
