雪裡紅·自我民族誌與俗民紀錄片 1
研究者可以研究自己嗎？
人類學家以自身作為研究對象有學術價值嗎？以自我為主角的民族誌合理嗎？如何維持客觀、判斷真實性、證明可信度？微觀角度下呈現的研究發現，和其他人有何關係？是否具足夠公共性而能論證其存在意義？這些提問背後有著對於學術研究過程與成果之想像與預設。例如，認為有機會、且應該完全客觀中立、全然不受個人價值觀影響。又如，認定「他者」或包含自我、但尺度大於個體的單位—「文化」、「社會」、「社群」等—才能啟發有學術意義的討論。
本文目的並非就上述提問給出決斷答案，而是談談個人／個別群體觀點之「公共性」、「普遍性」、「可信度」。為將討論具體化，聚焦「自我民族誌」、「俗民紀錄片」。兩個概念皆是回應被研究者「主體性」…
