徐迅雷：從文化制造到文化創造（下）
筆者不是文化虛無主義者。我的觀點很鮮明：對待傳統文化，態度只有一個——拿來主義。我曾注意過不少論爭傳統文化、論爭國學的文章，發現根本就找不到“拿來主義”這個詞。這是一個怪象。這些論爭中的學者們，似乎有一種集體無意識，那就是把“拿來主義”給徹底忘卻了。魯迅先生當年論及“拿來主義”，再清晰不過了：“他占有，挑選”；“或使用，或存放，或毀滅”，“沒有拿來的，人不能自成為新人，沒有拿來的，文藝不能自成為新文藝”。“拿來主義”的重要性，最後歸結到“能不能成為新文藝”上。
反對國學、反對傳統文化者，是看到幾千年的封建皇權造就了東方式的“專制文化”。是的，這是必須“毀滅”的對象。那麽，糟粕與精華如何區分？我比較認同一位思想家對“傳統文化”和“文化傳統”不同概念的界定——“傳統文化”是各種具象文化的集成，比如唐詩、宋詞、元曲，值得“拿來”；而“文化傳統”就是指“專制文化思想”，必須拋棄。…
