家明·與中藥結緣
- 紀念新加坡中藥學院創校十周年
“老弟，要不要一起報名讀中藥？”姐姐的話似乎還在耳邊，但回想起來，那已是近十年前的事了。也不知道當時起的那股什麽勁，居然也到新加坡中藥學院報名，和姐姐姐夫一起去上中藥課。
如果我記的沒錯，在那兩年的初級課程期間，除了病假，我缺席應該不到兩次。那可不是因為中藥課程是我這麽多年來第一次自費上的與我工作沒有直接關系的課程，而是在上了第一堂課之後，覺得課程越來越有趣，漸漸地有欲罷不能之感也！…

家明·畫家又有什麽故事好說呢？
畫家艾德裏安·布勞威爾大約生於公元1605/06年。他約18歲時在父親去世後離開家鄉烏登納德（Oudenaarde）到安特衛普，再到荷蘭的畫室謀生。七年後回到安特衛普經營一個小畫室工作坊，技術一流，並成為著名的“聖祿克畫家協會”的會員。
布勞威爾一生窮困，生活並不富裕，也曾為財務糾紛入獄。幸好他的天分得到畫界超級大師魯本斯（Peter Paul Rubens）的欣賞，故在明地、暗地裏支持他。布勞威爾的傳世作品數量有限；在層層的社會等級當中，他選擇了畫卑下者，也愛畫帶有一點情色意味的酒吧畫。他不但勇於鋪展塵俗人生的鏡像，更通過高超的繪畫造詣，突破了當時其他畫家所陷入的窠臼，不行寓說教於此類畫面的庸俗之舉。…
