竹筒饭
遍地竹林的阿里山区，竹简饭为其特色小吃，尤其广为当地邹族族人所运用；传统的做法是以桂竹的竹筒内装生糯米，再以高丽菜或山酥塞住筒口后炭烤，一会即可闻到浓浓的竹香，待烤熟后即拨开竹筒，长条的白饭外围裹着一层透明的竹膜，桂竹的清香混合着饭香扑鼻而来，香Q可口
