馬拉美（STEPHANE MALLARME）詩選《撞鐘人》
在早晨純凈、清澄而深厚的大氣裏，
當晨鐘蘇醒過來，發出清脆的聲音，
飄過孩子的頭上，孩子歡歡喜喜地
在熏衣草和百里香中念起三鐘經，
撞鐘人頭上掠過映著朝陽的小鳥，
它騎在系著古老的鐘繩的石頭上，
憂心忡忡地哼著古拉丁文的祈禱，
聽到的只有那遙遠的叮噹的聲響。
我就是這種人。唉！在希望的黑夜中，
我徒然拉那敲響理想之鐘的繩子，
忠實的羽翼在冷酷的罪孽中嬉戲，
傳來的聲音只是斷續而空空洞洞！
可是，有一天，等我白白地拉得倦了，
哦，撒旦，我將搬開這塊石頭而上吊。
