(法) 帕特朗·月夜
一個即將破曉的冬夜，城市還在靜穆中酣睡，我從夢中驚醒，好像有人在我耳邊輕呼我的名字。
我的房間一片迷蒙；月兒身著輕盈的長袍，像一位潔白的仙女，凝睇我睡眠；她還透過彩繪的玻璃窗，對我微笑。
夜巡者在街上走過。空曠的十字街頭，有一只無家可歸的狗在哀叫，還有一只蟋蟀在我爐竈邊鳴唱。
不久，周圍逐漸沈寂，夜巡者已經走遠，有人為可憐的棄狗打開大門，而倦怠的蟋蟀已經安息。
我剛剛醒來，還在贊嘆另一世界的種種奇妙，周圍的一切對我是空夢一場。
啊，當月兒神秘地來到你的床前，用她淒淒的吻把你喚醒，夜半醒來是多麽甜蜜！
