當你的內心充滿感激，任何看起來關閉的門都能夠成為一個開口，將你導入更大的祝福。
只有很少的女人曾經達到禪的終極境界，蘭潔子是那些少數的女人之一。
她要去朝聖，在日落的時候，她來到了一個村莊，她向村民請求住一個晚上，但是村民們都用力把門關起來，他們一定是傳統的佛教徒，他們不讓這個禪宗的女人待在那裡；他們將她趕出那個村子。
那是一個很冷的夜晚，那個年老的女人沒有地方可以住……飢寒交迫，因此她必須在野外的一棵櫻桃樹下過夜，那天天氣真的很冷，所以她沒有辦法睡好，而且那個地方也很危險，有野獸和其他的東西。…
