很多時候,書店老板是生意人,多過是文化人。
他們不可能讀過店里的每一本書,但懂得怎樣應付各色各樣的顧客。
所以,當你問他:這本書寫得怎麼樣?
就算他推薦叫你買,并非因為他認為那部書寫得好,
而是他認為你大概會喜歡它。
