Q：您在研究文學領域時，注意到歐洲集體思維發生了哪些變化？
A：從歷史來看，比較文學的發展建立在一個前提之上：存在不同的民族文學，可以相互比較。換句話說，長期以來，國際性與民族性密不可分——要成為國際性的，首先必須是民族性的。但今天，在創作和學術環境中，越來越多人認為民族不應該是比較的主要單位。現在建議將語言作為主要聯繫，它可能與民族邊界重合，但不一定。從這個角度來看，多語性成為新的國際主義——人們比較不同語言的傳播區域，這開闢了講述故事的新方式，例如後殖民歷史，因為語言經常由於歷史原因連接非常不同的民族。所以答案之一就是多語思維的盛行。…
