不少谈论技术问题的哲学家也喜欢谈论文艺，比如，海德格尔喜欢讨论诗歌和荷尔德林。此种风尚在当代法国思想家中尤为常见，福柯、鲍德里亚、德勒兹、德里达和斯蒂格勒均如此。福柯更是提出生存美学的理论，要求哲学家做出表率，把生活当作有自己“风格”（style）的艺术品。他曾道：“艺术成了一种专业化的东西，成了那些搞艺术的专家所做的事情。为什么人的生活不能成为艺术品？为什么灯或房子可以成为艺术品，而我们的生活反而不能呢？”显然，福柯要求哲学家同时也应是艺术家。…
