中國神話傳説－龍的起源

我們這里要説的龍，是一種神話動物，在中國大地上，到處都能見到它的形象。

但真正的龍是什麼樣子呢？誰也沒見過，因爲自然界根本就沒有這樣的動物。可見，龍是人類自己創造的。

龍不僅中國有，世界上很多的國家的神話中也都有龍。例如，西方神話的龍就很有意思，那些龍在形體上跟中國龍有很相似的地方：身體龐大，遍身鱗甲，長着四條腿和尖利的爪，頭上有角，能騰雲駕霧。不同的是，西方龍的龍頭比較多，有的三個頭，有的九個頭，還有十二個頭的，而中國龍只有一個頭；西方龍嘴里吐火，中國龍嘴里一般噴水；西方龍常常代表兇惡的勢力，中國龍往往是吉祥的象征。…
