無論你在學校製作出多好的作品，扮演過多稱職的導演或攝影師，到了業界全都要歸零，因為在學校的一切只是根據想像衍伸的練習，進入社會後，就要盡快讓自 己達到業界的水平。這幾年來，我觀察到一個不太好的現象—傳播本科系出身的人，常常都不甘願從基層做起。我覺得，影像製作最重要的是熱忱，而不是擁有多麼專業的技術，而且學歷愈高，反而會成為你的包袱，如果你不把學歷和自尊拋開，別人就會特別觀察你的一舉一動，從而評斷你；以我來說，我更欣賞充滿學習活力 的人，因為如果想進這一行，態度是最重要的。（ 臺灣電影制片廖士涵）（Photo: Together by Dongyup Shim）
