槟城渡轮由自1894年开始提供服务，搭上百年的历史川流,可沿着旁边的楼梯上到上层走走看看，有公厕，有面包食水小摊。渡輪分成兩層，上層載客，下層載車，也有渡輪上下層全部都是載車的，檳城渡輪由檳城開往北海是不收費的，由北海往檳城的方向才要收費，費用是行人RM1.2、機車（摩多）RM2、汽車和客貨車RM7.7
